The Terrible Beast
May 2011, Chthonic Theater performed the second part of a musical odyssey, ‘The Ship of Fools.’ The first act, which premiered the previous year, chronicled the capture and expulsion by an authoritarian government of the ‘radical elements’ of society, the Fools. Ship of Fools Act I:
Not Fit For Society
Chthonic Theater performed the first act of its second original musical theater piece, ‘The Ship of Fools,’ a musical in five parts on August 13th and 14th 2010. This first chapter, ‘Not Fit for Society’, chronicles the capture of a group of ‘fools’ and their forced journey on the sea.

A Murmured Tale
A Murmured Tale is a musical adaptation of the 19th century folktale by Hans Christian Andersen, The Little Mermaid. This rendition of the story uses original music, narration, and correography to bring new life to Andersen’s classic tale. The musical was originally written in 2005 by Chloe, Rachel and Erika Tietjen (aka the T-Sisters) and Melanie Paterson.
